Redwell Taproom

We are lucky here at Redwell to have a fantastic brewery space, with a large open plan taproom. Nothing is hidden away here at the brewery – if you’re drinking inside the taproom you get to sit alongside the working brewery equipment for a truly immersive ex-beer-erience!

We also have an open-plan kitchen within the taproom for our resident foodies, The Redwell Vault Pizzeria. Keep an eye out for pop-up food vendors too, who we invite down on Sundays to provide a variety of the region’s finest street food.

What's On Tap?

Updated 16/08/2022

Our delicious West Coast IPA is brewed using Citra, Sovereign and Amarillo hops, which give this beer a real depth of flavour and a very welcome subtle sweetness. This is a well-rounded, very tasty IPA, and at 5.6% is the strongest beer in our core range. We are proud to say that SIBA (Society of Independent Brewers) have awarded this beer a GOLD award! If you haven’t tried it yet, what are you waiting for?

Our Steam Lager is one of our most popular lines and you’re likely to see it on tap in many different establishments around Norfolk and beyond. Technically our Steam Lager is a hybrid beer – which means it’s brewed with lager yeast, but at ale temperatures. Combined with our special selection of hops – including Cascade and Bravo – this gives it a special malty quality with notes of citrus, as well as a deep caramel colour. We’ve gone the extra mile to give Steam Lager that special little something to set it apart from the rest.

Our Norwich Pilsner is a delicious and refreshing Czech-style lager. With a light natural fizz, it’s perfect for easy drinking. Norwich Pilsner is brewed using Czech Kazbek hops and unlike our other beers, is not dry-hopped. This gives us the clear, golden characteristics of a good lager whilst still maintaining that all important depth of flavour.

Hoppy, Citrus and Juicy

Clear, light, and easy-drinking, our Extra Pale Ale is very smooth and goes down a treat. Brewed with a number of American hop varieties – including Cascade, Citra and Chinook – this beer has a deep fruity flavour – it certainly brings a little something extra to the party! As one of our most popular beers, we believe Extra Pale Ale really speaks for itself.

Our session Pale Ale is something particularly special, because it has one of the punchiest flavour profiles of our entire range; despite having the lowest alcohol content. We double dry-hop this beer with Citra, Calypso and Amarillo hops to achieve this depth of flavour and the results are pretty damn delicious, even if we do say so ourselves! This seriously drinkable beer can be enjoyed all day long without having to compromise on flavour or character.

Our signature stout – Lusty Newton – is a dark, smooth beer with a real depth of flavour. With undertones of tobacco, coffee and chocolate, this is our perfect idea of a stout with personality. We brew this beer using Pilgrim and Phoenix hops (among others) to produce that balanced bitterness which is expected from a good honest stout. Warming and comforting – this is a must-try for all dark beer lovers.

A cross over IPA and wheat beer, using coriander and orange peel alongside Citra hops. Fully flavoured yet easily drinkable citrus summer treat.

Redwell Beer Garden

As well as our spacious taproom, we also have a huge beer garden here at the brewery, which is served by our retro Airstream outdoor bar. It’s the perfect space to enjoy a relaxed pint or three.

With seating for over 350 people and two large marquees, we can accommodate almost any event here in our beer garden. We welcome well-behaved children and dogs too!
